In the second week of July my friend Carmelo told me Algida was organizing an event about Pokemon Go in the EUR park in #Rome. As a Pokemon enthusiast, I was very curious and decided to join in.
With my avatar set up in the Pokemon Go app, I went to the Cornetto Go event to use the free lure modules offered by Algida.
When I reached the location, I was astonished by how many people were there, hoping to catch’em all!
While the other guys were trying to catch wild Pokemon, I seized the moment to interview the global brand manager of Cornetto, Lorenzo Pasciuto (who came from London specifically for this event), and the assistant brand manager of Cornetto & Magnum, Silvia Mattei.
I wanted to discover which marketing strategy they used to promote Cornetto Go.
It was very funny, because Carmelo and me had only our mobile phones to shoot the interview. Fortunately, Lorenzo Pasciuto lets the event official video maker help us with the recording.
